Good job on the fruit! Nice work in painter. I tend to use painter 7 and 9. Yeah artrage is not a bad program you should try it. And thanks for explaining your process. And thanks for finding my blog. :)
And I like this one ,The colours and the treatment are really able to give the feeling of something fresh... Thank you for your visit and comment:-). C.Pott
You did a REALLY good job with this image :) I especially like how you captured the furry peach surface and fresh plum surface. I think that plum would squeak with freshness if it could be touched!
Your fresh fruit is inviting/delicious looking and so well painted. I use Painter IX and have been using painter since version 4.0. It is a wonderful program, well worth learning although the learning curve is steep at first. After 10 years I am still finding new ways to create with it. I have to say, your illustration looks so real I thought at first it was a photo. Great work.
you captured that peach, perfectly. I remember as a young teen, my father was stationed to an AirForce Base in northern California where there were orchards of clingfree peaches.
In the middle of July, there was one orchard where my brothers and I would sneak up to the trees and pick a peach ripe off the tree. They were so juicy our shirts would be soiled, and our mother would know we'd been stealing peaches.
We'd come there from Nebraska, and the only peaches we'd ever had were those picked green and shipped in a truck.
hell of a sales pitch girl, you SHOULD work for them! your work is enticement alone, i think next time i accumulate a rainy day fund (just blew the last one!) i'll invest in corel. these works for fresh are so tangible! cheers, kerry

That's a pretty slick piece of photo-realism! It almost fooled me, it must have been the white specks on the apple.
Kewl stuff !

Makes me hungry for some fruit! rr

am most impressed with this - right down to that frosty-dusty-looking area that you always see around the stem of a plum or apple. nice job!
