Very strong work... I like the complimentary (almost!) colors and the hint of a novel as a caption.
Beautiful composition... but it's probably just a bill
Nice concept, "...never sent, never read, never known..." I like contrast between yellowed old letter and the powerful colors background !!
This looks very close to a non-digital painting - well done. Great concept, nice to see something different :)
I can't believe you never opened my christmas card! ;)
Sadly romantic!
(but i can't help lovin tony and ian's comments! haha!)
It's not a bill. Creditors don't put pretty seals on their envelope flaps! In my imagination it's a letter written to one's self, to be opened at some future date. Wonderful coloring!
No, its a love letter. But he never sent it. He knew it would never work! She was uptown and he was.........................
Great illlustration, good colour. Love it!
being redundant, but awesome colours, great look, and love the weathered texture of the wall behind, the play of light...terrific work!
cheers,
kerry
Ah, the Schrodinger's cat of letters :). There could be anything in there, until it's opened...
Your contrasts of warm and cool colours is superb. What's the object at bottom left?
The letter sits there in the corner, aging, waiting... what's in it?! Curious minds need to know!
I love the muted colors. It's thought provoking as everyone is thinking about what's inside that envelope.
