I like both of the images -the stark black and grahic one works really well- the bridge shape ties it all todgether beautifully. However the brightly coloured jazzy one is excellent too -it makes me want to smile
I dig both of these for entirely different reasons! The first one has tension and concentrated structure - the way you've used tapered, up and down, working against each other is really successful, with the bridge arch pulling it all together.
The colour piece succeeds entirely on it's informality - the sense of music and motion is vibrant, and the colour choices have helped to bring it off! I wondered how it would look with a more informal frame around the picture, but maybe it needs to look "sampled," as though it's been taken randomly from a larger, hectic world.

I LOVE your colorful drawings. I think your work is fantastic.
I thought of jazz right away but imagined a city of jazz music made out of jello :) Yum.
That's groovie

This picture is outstanding! I just love it!
Love them both- well done. Your color on this one (and on so many of your portfolio pieces) is quite yummy! Really nice!
